The beautiful light covered in cobwebs with no working bulbs. We had to rent a ladder to change the bulbs so I figured we might as well replace the fixture while we were at it.

The 17 foot ladder in action!

The man who does all the actual work!

The after. I was so excited to have the new light up. All day I kept saying, it looks a million dollars better. Don't you agree? It also adds so much more light to an area of the home that doesn't get a lot of natural light.
Oh, wow, that is very cool! What a difference it makes!
ReplyDeleteYes, it looks so much better!! I love that fixture!!

How in the world did you get your husband to get up on that ladder? We have a very similar foyer with an old chandelier that desperately needs replacing, 5 out of the 6 little flame light bulbs are burned out. My husband took one look at that photo of your husband up on that gigantic ladder and just shook his head. I LOVE the new chandelier! It is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteLove the new fixture... nice choice!

We've got a light way up high like that too, and I absolutely hate it! It is currently in need of a new lightbulb, but we hate dragging out the huge huge ladder. I love your new light! I'd love to get something similar for our house.
