Brothers Shared Room - Design Question

Two brothers ages 6 and 2 are moving into a room to share together.  The space isn't big, so their mom wondered if bunk beds would work for their ages and wanted some ideas for their room.

I suggested bunk beds right off, the boys are the perfect ages for them and they are great for saving space.  A light in each bunk would allow each kid to read in bed and have their own personal space.  Because the top bunk cant reach a night stand, a DIY book sling would be perfect to store glasses, books, and a stray toy.

    I have three boys in one room and they love it. That way we have one bedroom designated as the playroom for all of there little toys.
