I recently began searching for the perfect drop leaf tables. After finding a table similar to this one below, with leafs that extend out each side, I am now on the search for the perfect chairs to go with it. I had always envisioned more contemporary chairs, but husband wants them to be really comfortable. Is there a compromise? What are your thoughts?

It's hard to find the exact chairs you want! I like that barn wood looking table with the galvanized metal chairs. Very cool and different.

Are you familiar with Four Hands? They have some of the most contemporary beautiful plastic dining chairs (like the white ones in picture 5) and they are REALLY comfy. Surprisingly. I don't remember the price right now, but you should look it up. I want them for my house SO bad! Love this blog.
