The Next Best Thing by Jennifer Weiner - Book Review
Ruths dream has come
true. Her sitcom has been picked up and
she gets to create a pilot for her show.
As she goes through the process of creating her masterpiece she lets
details of her dream go in exchange for her show being on tv. She learns that what sells is not necessarily
the story that she wants to tell. Ruth
has to learn what is important to her and to find her strength and self esteem.
Jennifer Weiner tells an
amazing story, as expected, you find yourself cheering, crying and laughing out
loud along with the character. Other
than a few blush worthy moments, I would recommend this book to all of my
girlfriends.
